On 29 May 2012, the Night painting by the famous Ukrainian artist Anatoly Kryvolap was sold at Sotheby's for £51,650. The pre-sale estimate of the landscape was £30,000–50,000. Such estimate became a new benchmark for the Ukrainian art – previously Sotheby's estimated Ukrainian painting within £15,000.
