During 12-24 November 2013, Kyiv’s Mystetskyi Arsenal hosted the 8th annual Art Kyiv Contemporary forum, featuring over 30 artistic projects, presented by different museums, galleries, independent curators and artists.
A special highlight was a display arranged by OntoArtGallery exhibiting the Golden Collection of paintings by one of ‘12 apostles’ of modern art Anatoly Kryvolap. Guests could view 25 abstract landscapes created in the 2000’s including brand new artworks, never shown before.
‘Kryvolap unleashes new dramatic angle of the Ukrainian landscape. He is definitely an outstanding person in the sense of Ukrainain and European modern culture. He is undoubtedly one of the most striking artistic personalities not only in Ukraine but in Europe as well. His artworks go beyond the existential space and inspire metaphysical perception of the Ukrainian Motif through the ‘new shape’ of timelessness and infinity,’ said the art-manager and collector Oleg Mazin.
